The Piedirosso is a rare grape variety and was first planted in the Cilento region by the ancient Greeks.
It has a strong ruby red colour, an intense yet elegant fragrance and a good deal of fruit on the nose. It
has a rich, pleasant aroma and a full flavour. It is smooth bodied and refined by the passage through oak.
Piedirosso goes very well with stuffed fresh pasta, cheeses, grilled meats and particularly barbequed kid.
Serve at room temperature of between 18-20°C.
